Far Jap College pulled off an upset towards top-ranked Nationwide College, 25-23, 25-17, 25-23, to power a do-or-die for a finals slot within the UAAP Season 86 ladies’s volleyball event on Saturday on the Good Araneta Coliseum.
The Woman Tamaraws, who weren’t in a position to beat the Woman Bulldogs within the elimination spherical, relied on its stability offense as Chenie Tagaod had 12 factors, whereas Jean Asis and Mitzi Panangin had 11 and 10 factors, respectively.
“Talagang ginusto talaga namin,” mentioned FEU head coach Manolo Refugia. “Pumunta kami, nag ensayo kami, ginusto talaga ng mga gamers. Naniwala sila na kaya nila, na kaya ng staff, na kaya naming lahat na talunin talaga ang NU.”
