Filipino Olympic silver medalist and boxer Nesthy Petecio will give her all within the upcoming 2023 Asian Video games in Hangzhou, China as this can be her final shot to a different Olympic stint.
The 31-year previous Petecio emphasised the significance of this upcoming stint throughout a send-off for the Asian Video games-bound athletes on Monday.
“Sobra, sobrang halaga’to sa akin kasi iniisip ko baka final shot ko na ‘to eh. Hindi tayo bumabata, tumatanda rin tayo. Ang dami-dami na ring nararamdaman,” she advised reporters.

Nonetheless, Petecio stated she is going to dedicate her marketing campaign to her household, family members and accomplice, to the late ABAP president Ed Picson, and to herself.
“Final Tokyo, para sa pamilya ‘yun. This time naman, para sa sarili ko naman.”

Petecio will compete in boxing ladies’s 57 kg division within the Asiad.
